Here we are starting a great new blog where we can all put our writing out there. I am glad that I am doing this with my two best friends who I know will be honest and I know I can be safe in sharing what I write.
When did I stop writing? I have written very little since High School. I used to be able to sit in any class in HS and write poetry off the top of my head about anything. My fiction wasn't great but I enjoyed writing it. I want to have that same enjoyment again and I hope this is something that will inspire me so I can get on the writing bandwagon again.
My other strategy (which hasn't worked) is to buy new notebooks. Something about a new notebook becomes something I have to fill up. I would go through quite a few in my younger years so I figured it was time for another one so I bought a very cute rainbow colored one. I love it and I can carry it in my purse.
I am so excited and can't wait to get started! Here's to us!

How funny, because I just bought myself some new Parker fountain pens! They are UPSing their way to me now.
I also need to get some new notebooks, but back in the day I was very particular (5 subject; with holes; no perfs; no pockets; certain number of pages; I had a preference for either college or wide margins, though I don't remember anymore which; the paper had to be thick enough to hold up to serious ink flow without messing up the back side; etc). I don't think they make my favorite type of notebook anymore, so I'll have to find something else that works.
